Tranquilseas & Raruwa
Divers will be
dedicated to give
its customers the
very best of Roatan
and The Bay Islands
. The resort has
been planned taking
into account all
the environmental
considerations
that some places
may have forgotten.
Surface run-off
and erosion plays
a significant part
in the destruction
of the reef and
with the second
largest barrier
reef system being
a stone's throw
from Tranquilseas
we are building
with minimal environmental
impacts.
One member of the founding group for Tranquilseas has spent a number of years working for a conservation group that was based on the exact site in the past years. Following an education program that Sir David Bellamy helped put together, tropical ecology and coastal resource assessment were some of the courses covered. Tranquilseas has been designed around nature and the environment so that we can share our amazing ecosystem with others.
Tranquilseas will boast having a full Honduran environmental license: the process to obtain this is lengthy and thorough but with impeccable guidance from our local environmental engineers, Ian and Jenny Drysdale (planetazulroatan@yahoo.com), we are able to create one of the newest eco-friendly resorts on Roatan. With some of the newest technology of water treatment, our own water source and water recycling system, we are hoping to be self- sustainable. With minimal impacts to our surrounding neighbors they will be able to benefit from Tranquilseas as a business entity, offering a wide range of job positions.
As Tranquilseas is currently under construction, rain water is being collected and used to irrigate our ever growing plant & tree nursery. With mangos, passion fruit, avacardos and cashews being some of the fruit we will have to offer, the huge range of flora and fauna will almost be endless. The team of Tranquilseas would like to invite you to come and get away from the rapid life, sit back and share some of the most amazing scenery in the world.
Thank You
