Tranquilseas is one of Roatan's newest and most exciting eco-diving and holiday getaways.

Located on the north side of the island, Tranquilseas enjoys the trade winds, which wrap one in the best of what the Caribbean holds. Tranquilseas offers jungle hillside cabanas, a beach front swimming pool, a restaurant and an ocean view bar. Away from the noisy hustle and bustle of crowds, one can enjoy the tranquil azure waters lapping the golden sands of Cahoon Bight.

The Bay Islands are located approximately 36 miles off of the northeast coast of mainland Honduras. About 180 million years ago, a lava eruption from the ocean's floor resulted in a land mass, forming the Bonacca Ridge.

On this ridge, Roatan, about 36 miles long and 2 miles wide, is the largest of the three main islands, located directly between Utila and Guanaja. As you would expect from a tropical island, the lush, green, exotic jungle that laces Roatan provides a canopy for many indigenous birds and creatures that are the backbone for the golden, palm-fringed beaches. Free from commercialization, one can tour around Roatan in a rented pick-up or tour mini bus, discovering fishing villages and local vendors trying their best to make their way though the day.

Diving is as hot as the sun on Roatan! Dropping into the second largest Barrier reef system connected to the world-renowned Cayman Trench, diving is as relaxed or as invigorating as you want to make it. If diving is not your thing, then Roatan provides a wide variety of botanical gardens, bird watching, horseback riding, eco-adventure parks, island-hopping or just soaking up the sun.
